Is this be a good murder story idea?

Here's a question for you: *why do the readers find out so late?* it's not a new idea nor is it easy to write something like that. You have to really put your mind to it. You have to make it work and have the readers *connect* with the characters. Whether it's the murderer or not, have them connect. To tell you the truth I would read it. You just have to make it good :)
