How can I verify if I received a "baby bonus" in Quebec in the 1970's?

Left Canada in 1979, when my children were 4 and 2. We lived in Montreal. My recollection is that I received a "baby bonus" for each of them from the time they were born until we moved to the US. I am now applying for a Quebec pension based on my work there, and the application requires information about whether I received these payments. After 30-some years, I have no records! Were there such payments at that time? Was everyone eligible?
