I texted my mom in my sleep? What the hellllll?

Today after school between 4:20-4:50, I fell asleep. At 4:32, I sent my mom a text message including lyrics to a song that I was writing. She came home from work and showed me the text and asked what it meant. I have no recollection of sending this whatsoever. I was embarassed to have her see the lyrics, but I just told her it was something my friend typed into google to find lyrics of a song. Is this normal? Haha? Has this happened to anyone else before?
