ADVICE please, battle with disability living allowance......on my son who has ASD and ADHD?

hi just wondering if anyone else has been turned down for DLA at the moment.. we applied for it for our son who was diagnosed with aspergers syndrome and also ADHD and dyslexia, we were refused the first time round because apparently his behaviour isn't challenging enough at school and because he can Cross the road on his own!! (ummm i think not) so we asked for a different decision maker to look at his case, we were then again turn down because they do not feel he needs constant supervision while out and about and apparently his behaviour is very different at school to what it s at home (even with his education needs!). apparently he needs a statement threw education to be able to receive DLA!!! even though we have friends with children who do not have a statement and receive DLA. it has been about 6 months since we last applied and was turned down. we have since moved home and joined a new school (who are helping him alot more).... we just dont no what to do should be apply again?!? hes condition has progressed! and anyone who has a child with ASD nos that as they get older their behaviour changes, (hes 9 at the mo). we just feel that with the help of DLA he could join clubs and do things to keep him occupied. whatt should we do?
